| The Summer Infant Deluxe Prenatal Heart Listening System [Item # 02130] is a wonderful way to hear and share the precious sounds of your baby’s tiny heart. The Deluxe Prenatal Heart Listening System is a completely safe and non-invasive way to listen to your unborn baby’s heartbeat and is easy to use. Unlike ultrasound, it emits no energy into you or your baby. Included in your kit is a CD-Rom that demonstrates the actual sounds you will hear with the prenatal heartbeat monitor and provides basic instructions for use.
The Deluxe Prenatal Heart Listening System can begin to detect your baby’s heartbeat during the second half of your second trimester; typically between 21-28 weeks.

FEATURES:
• Two pair of Headphones: Allows you and your partner to listen to the inspiring sound of your baby’s heartbeat at the same time.
• Positioning Belt: The heartbeat sensor actually works best when you are not holding it. The belt allows you to keep the sensor in place over the baby’s heartbeat while you enjoy listening.
• Informational CD-Rom: This helpful instructional CD will make finding your own baby’s heartbeat simpler. Example heart tones along with basic instructions will get you started listening.
• Stereo Cable: With this cable you can let the entire room hear the baby’s heartbeat or make a recording for a keepsake. Simply plug the baby heartbeat sensor into the stereo and record.
Sound Guide:
• Fairly steady, rapid drumming: This is the sound of your precious baby’s heartbeat. It is not unusual for the pace of the heartbeat to vary while you are listening.
• Strong Thump: You’ve felt your baby kick and now you may be hearing it, too.
• Multiple thumps: Your baby may have hiccups. Hiccups are typically 3 to 5 seconds apart. You may feel these thumps as your baby moves with each hiccup.
• Growling: This is your stomach growling or your intestine gurgling. These noises are not associated with your baby.
• Soft rumbling: If your baby is not in an optimum position for listening, you may hear a low rumbling sound. Try again later after your baby has shifted. If you are in the early stages of your pregnancy, you may also hear this sound. • Your heartbeat: You can also use your Deluxe Prenatal Heart Listening System to listen to your own or your child’s heartbeat. IN this case, you can hold the sensor to your chest or your child’s chest with your hand.
