Designs, went in search of a pretty nursing privacy cover to use when she and her baby were out and about. When she came up empty-handed she went to the fabric store and bought the softest, coziest fabric she could find and made one for herself.
The blanket’s classic styling, sweet fabric and comfy design attracted the attention of other breastfeeding moms and it wasn’t long before Sasha was making nursing privacy covers for family, friends and friends of friends. These women loved that the blankets gave them the freedom to easily snuggle their babies up to their bare skin to eat no matter where they were and soon began urging Sasha to make the blankets available to moms everywhere.
Having recently left her job as an executive at the Walt Disney Studios, Sasha embraced the challenge of starting her own business and soon Sasha B. Designs was born. Sasha founded her family-friendly company with the goal of making the lives of breastfeeding moms just a little easier.
